The MAK Dojo - Martial Arts Kyokushin
The Waikato has been a strong Kyokushin area for many years with the likes of NZ Kyokushin greats as Sensei Robin Begbie and Shihan Kevin Pepperell running dojos in the earlier years. There's now a new kid on the block by the name of Kapiera Peita. Kapi is well respected in the region and has already got a strong core group training. This is a family oriented club with wife Lee sharing the load and son Adam (recently graded to Shodan) training alongside mum and dad. Not forgetting daughters Tamaki and Te Waiariki all training together! Kapi is also supported by sister Berenize and brother Mikaere.
