Special Guests Visit Bannockburn - March 2009

Bannockburn was VERY fortunate to have SPECIAL guests visit during the first week of March 2009. Shihan Eguchi, Sensei Miyuki Eguchi and Sensei Kawasaki embraced the relaxing vineyards of Bannockburn after sharing experiences with Shihan Chris Gower and Sempai Jill Gower at their 10th Anniversary celebrations. The Bannockburn dojo is now entering its 3rd year and it was great for members to have International Instructors lead the training, especially the Women's World Champion. click here to view photos

4TH WOMEN'S RETREAT - TAUPO

What a great weekend (again)! Sensei Joy Cujic was a pleasure to have as our guest instructor this year. I'm sure everyone who attended learnt lots and were inspired by her wonderful attitude and perserverance in a male dominated sport. She is a pioneer for women in Kyokushin always present at tournaments on the corners and in the centre!
